Lubricant / Capacity Notes

- Cooling System: Use Ethylene Glycol or Propylene Glycol antifreeze at a ratio of 30%, or one part antifreeze to two parts water. For Detroit Diesel engines 50% Ethylene Glycol antifreeze is recommended but Propylene Glycol is only suitable for the 40, 50 and 60 series, at 30%. Caterpillar recommend that Propylene Glycol should only be used at a ratio of 50%
